What is your photography style?

I’d have to stay my style is generally emotional and possibly moody, but its hard to say! I look for interesting moments of connection; a gentle touch, a quick laugh, a knowing glance. I’m drawn to the subtle, intimate moments as well as the humorous or awkward. I try to get as much of the ‘story’ in the frame as I can and attempt to capture what the day feels like.

Do you bring lots of lights? What if its raining?

I’m a natural light photographer and use very basic gear. I won’t be setting up big lights or running around popping my flash during your ceremony. I do bring lighting however just in case the weather is terrible or if the venue has little to no widows, but will only use it sparingly. Your images will be honest, sometimes grainy, and always awesome.

What about a second photographer?

I do offer a second photographer for an additional charge. Having a second person there is great, you get a whole different style and viewpoint along with having moments covered when I can’t be in two places at once. (such as both of you getting ready!). Honestly though, most weddings I photograph solo, so it’s totally up to you!

What’s all included?

Wedding coverage begins at 6hrs with the option to add on time up to 12hrs. Beyond the coverage, you of course receive an online gallery of beautifully edited photos from which you can download, order prints and even design your own albums! And I’ll send you a USB with all of your edited images as well for back up.

Do we get all of the images you shoot or just a select gallery?

I’ll be taking so many photographs at your wedding, you would be completely overwhelmed going through them all! I purposely shoot ‘through a moment’ and then select the best options from each. Then I take those images, painstakingly edit each and upload them to your own personal gallery, ready to print.

Do you do extensive editing?

I try to keep things as real as possible, so my editing is minimal beyond colour correction, cropping, localized exposure adjusting etc. If there’s a glaring distraction in a few portraits, I’ll edit it out but for the most part I try to avoid that when I’m taking the photos.

When do we get the gallery?

I always say you should expect them within 6-8 weeks, but its often quicker. I don’t like to promise less than that though as the busy season gets a bit crazy and I don’t want to disappoint anyone!

What do you charge?

My wedding pricing begins at $2800 for 6hrs coverage. Most couples add on an hour or two for $250/hr. I do offer gorgeous, professional quality prints, books and albums through your gallery!

Do you do elopements or destination weddings?

Yes, I do! Contact me for pricing! Local elopements start at $1300. Special pricing applies to weekday and last minute weddings 🙂

Can we still hang out after our wedding?

Uh, of course! After ghosting you for an entire day I think we’re beyond questions like that. lol.
