Walking the Camino de Santiago, Spain

September 12, 2015 , All

I was just looking over my photographs from the Camino de Santiago and felt I had to post a few. This walk was absolutely incredible. The first day, walking with my father and bother, from France into Spain over the Pyrenees Mountains was the most challenging. It was long and gruelling with little shelter from the sun and no villages along the way. It was so beautiful though, and provided endless photo opportunities. My brother and I accompanied our father for ten days and we both wished we had the time to stay a little longer. One day I will return and finish the Camino, all 800km of it… and maybe shoot some stunning portraits along the way. But until then I will think back to its beautiful scenery, architecture, welcoming people and of course the cappuccinos, prosciutto, brie and baguette.
