Intimate Woodsy Wedding / The Settler's Loft

November 27, 2018 , All

If I could publish Jaclyn & Anton’s wedding questionnaire here I would. It sums them up perfectly. Lets just say these two are one of the most fun-loving couples I’ve ever worked with! Jaclyn wore a gold sequinned dress for one thing, and when I found Anton that afternoon, he was chilling in the basement by himself, tweaking his vows. They held their intimate, woodsy wedding The Settlers Loft just outside of Chatsworth, Ontario (2hrs north of Toronto).  Their ceremony took place at the end of a forested trail, leading into a beautiful ash grove where guests sat on long wood benches in the dappled afternoon sunlight. Now is that romantic or what?!

After the ceremony, guests gathered for champagne and toasted the new couple before wandering down the path towards the barn where lawn games and cocktails were waiting for them. Jaclyn & Anton lingered back for some intimate photos, but not before pouring more champaign, turning up the music and having a dance party for two. Oh the sequins!!!! Catching the light sneaking through the trees. A handful of glam photos later, we wandered to join the party where oversized jenga and cocktails awaited us. The temp began to drop and we filed into the heated tent for wood fired pizza and the best music selection I’ve heard in years of photographing weddings. Thank you guys, this was a treat <3
