This day started in the middle of the woods at Shannon’s parent’s home on the edge of town, up a wandering road that lead to some of the beautiful properties around. After she slipped into a lacey gown, we drove to Bonnieview Inn where guests were seated facing the water and where Jeff was patiently and nervously waiting.
These two were awkward in the best kind of way, the awkward that makes them approachable and easy to talk to, the awkward that makes for giggly photos and easy laughs. Family and friends wandered the beach, took selfies on the dock, cuddled babies and eventually gathered in the cozy lodge where we shared laughter through the speeches and delicious food. As the sun began to fade we snapped the last few photos and headed in for fun and dancing.
